Lorde: Melodrama

By a Googled definition, melodrama means - a sensational dramatic piece with exaggerated characters and exciting events intended to appeal to the emotions. By ear, melodrama is a beautiful set of beats that pulls emotional strings of past events, with a subtle accent in a heavy hearted voice.

I don't share a lot of personal events, especially events that make me feel vulnerable. So if music pulls strings that have vocalized what I used to feel or am currently feeling... well... it's damn good.

Sometimes it's not much about the words, but more about the beats that make your emotions rise.

Other times, it's just the complete collection of beats, words, and emotional cries between letters that make me love an album entirely. The Lorde has blessed us again with Melodrama, a sensational dramatic piece with exaggerated characters and exciting events intended to appeal to the emotions.
