Taking on New York City

DSC06769.jpg

Every time I go to New York City, I'm as amazed as I was the first time I visited years ago. There's something beautiful about it being one of the largest cities in the world and being inclusive of so many different backgrounds. Everyone is moving at a rapid pace, but it seems like everyone is moving together.

I find myself surprised that after so many trips, I still feel like I haven't had enough time there to do everything I want to do.

Places I visited (on this trip) and loved:

RETAIL

Glossier Showroom
Frankie Shop
Acne Studios
Maryam Nassir Zadeh
The Apartment by the Line
Oak and Fort
& Other Stories
Totokaelo
Aimé Leon Dore
Dover Street Market
Creatures of Comfort

FOOD

Tacombi
De Maria
Panna II Garden
Sel Rrose
La Pecora Bianca

HOUSING

I usually look at AirBnb for housing, but I decided to book our stay with Arlo Nomad this time around. They have a rooftop bar with great cocktails and a great view too. It's definitely worth checking out if you want to stay somewhere right in the middle of everything and easily accessible to public transportation.
